Acknowledged for being a close partner for the Kiribati Chamber of Commerce and Industry and their assistance to the private sectors in Kiribati through the IEC project where it encourages Private sectors to come up with entrepreneurship ideas that will help Kiribati’s economy.
The purpose of this program is to encourage and support brilliant ideas with a strong development focus, it helps I-Kiribati to look into ways of sustainable and self reliant development that will benefit Kiribati in the longer term. It is a way of showing a person’s own creative idea in making business that will make it unique. Therefore if all the businesses in Kiribati are all started with innovative ideas it will make our country as a whole to become attractively unique throughout the world. This Competition is led by an organizing committee with member representatives from ministries including MCIC, OB, MFAI, MFED, MELAD, MIA, MWYSSA, MEHR and Chinese Embassy, and is administered by KCCI.
